International TV networks 已于HBO签署了播放协议，《太平洋》将于2010年的三月正式播出！ 总共十集，每集60分钟的剧集将在包括英国、德国、亚洲、奥地利、瑞士以及其他的一些地区的各主要广播电视网中播出。（当然，这其中也包括HBO自己所在的美国）

HBO称《太平洋》为HBO迄今为止最大规模的制作，并且是电视史上最宏伟的剧作。相关工作人员说：“从标准上来看，这就好像一次制作了十部电影一样！”

Pacific: The Biggest Production in the History of TV

International TV networks have begun to purchase HBO’s The Pacific for a March 2010 release. A total of 10 episodes at 60minutes each will be shown on all the major networks ranging from the UK, to Germany, Asia, Austria, Switzerland and beyond. HBO billed the production as, “the biggest thing HBO has ever done” but also “the biggest production in the history of television,” given the scale and scope of the miniseries. It’s like making 10 major movies at once.
